Job Overview

The Content Writer will play a crucial role in supporting our thought leadership strategy through the company's various publications focused on proprietary financial insights and expertise, with an industry emphasis on digital, omnichannel experience, and marketing personalization. As a member of the marketing team, this individual will assist in generating various materials such as a quarterly magazine, monthly reports, white papers, research reports and provide external marketing communications support across product launches and events. This role extends to writing activities that focus on positioning value-based messaging for digital and omnichannel experience-centered products and solutions across email marketing and event campaigns.

Reporting Structure

The Content Creator will report directly to the Director of Thought Leadership and work closely with product and thought leadership experts across the organization. They will also collaborate closely with the Marketing Events and Digital Content Managers.

Responsibilities

This role plays a pivotal part in creating the content strategy for the omnichannel, sales, and experience business line, focusing on progressive marketing, marketing AI and personalization, digital customer journey tracking, marketing metrics, and product and branch analysis across the retail banking and FinTech sector. The successful candidate will have experience in the Financial omnichannel, sales and digital experience industry and the ability to serve as an expert writer, originating themes and writing content for corporate and professional audiences.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial journalism, focusing on the financial digital experience space
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in conceptualizing, interviewing, drafting, editing and releasing articles to the financial sector
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of financial services with a focus on retail and commercial banking
  • Ability to transform webinar and presentation content into compelling articles and infographics
  • Extremely strong copy-writing skills
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and goal-oriented
  • Video capabilities a plus
  • High comfort level in working closely with senior management
